The snow is piling up again. But it's only cold, not bitterly cold.

Spooky and I have are both amazed and very, very pleased to see that pledges to The Tale of the Ravens Project have, in less than 24 hours, amounted to 51% of our goal. We are extremely grateful. Whatever doubts I may have harbored about using Kickstarter to fund those projects ( Read more... )

How long does the pledging go on for? I'm a huge fan of Spooky's Ravens -- One of her paintings of the three has a prominent place at my Writing Desk. I actually had started a story based on the painting as a prompt and stopped when she mentioned something about doing a story on it. Although my story ended up being character driven and the Ravens were only a plot device. Regardless, I want to contribute, but may have to wait for my tax return because (as readingthedark is aware) I am in transition to making my writing work a larger part of my income base and I've been saving money like mad. But, this, I feel may need to break the bank a bit. So, time frame?

The Kickstarter project continues for another 58 days (a total of 60 days). No one will actually be charged what they pledge until November 26th.

I'm a bit behind, but I just saw that the project is already funded. Congratulations.

I'm glad it turned around so quickly, and I hope when we get our kickstarter sorted (for embroidery machine repairs and a software upgrade so I can use it with my macbook), it does even 5% as well.
