[It seems like I'm always just reviewing movies! Maybe I should take it up as a job. :P]

I've just come back from watching Dorian Gray and it was definitely worth a watch in the cinema! I've been looking forward to it all week as I saw the trailer and felt it to be that Sweeney Todd style - slightly cgi but without getting too unrealistic. All in ( Read more... )

It's one of those films that just have to be seen on the large screen of the cinema. It'll really suck you in then. :)

Even though my Dorian will always be blonde and blue-eyed, I am tempted to give this movie a chance! Wonder when it comes to Oz...

Oh yeah... They have some odd release dates in other countries. I've heard there's not even a date for the US. I dunno if they're trying to keep it ultra-British or something, but it's a shame either way. It would be nice to have the whole world see it!

It seems to work quite well even though movie Dorian isn't blond and blue-eyed. I guess that's the thing about book-to-movie things; they're bound to be different, but sometimes, they turn out really well. I do think you should go see it when it comes out there. :)

I have to find out when this film comes to my hometown. :-) *goes to imdb.com*

Aaaahh, Greysie - when this young man is in his mid-30ies - and if he's lucky - he'll be one of those stunning Hot Brit Actors that we love so much. ;-) The possiblity is definitely there! Just add a bit of experience and a few manly lines of wisdom.

All in all, this film is an absolute must-see! Rachel Hurd-Wood is lovely! Unlike DG, she does age. ;-) Colin Firth certainly does, LOL! (How I adored that man. What a fickle woman I am. ;-) )

"Looking like shit", bah! They don't know any better. Do they ordinarily look at dramas like this?

Oh, oh - they do film a lot at your uni, I've read. There is an arcade that turns up in lots of period drama! :-D Little Dorrit, I think, and some more that I can't recall.
