I totally understand what you mean. One of the saddest things about a fading fandom is the way that those strong connections start to fade out, too. Anyway, I used to have this friend who was one of my best friends and I always knew that she was kind of going to end up leaving fandom alltogether and trying to cut that part of her life ut because she belonged to a really snobby set and she cared way too much about what people thought about her, but when we talked, it's like she moved away from that and I was really sad when she finally totally went off and defriended all of her online friends on facebook and stuff. She still messages me sometimes, but I'm like "What's the point in prtending?" It's sad. But yay to making new friends, and hopefully stronger connections!

I can definitely understand that, it's not emoish to think that. There's online friends who have just slipped out of my life in the past couple of years. Life just caught up with all of us, and while we have each other added on facebook, it's still nothing like it used to be. I still talk to some of my online friends from prior fandoms, but like you say, never thought there'd be a day where we didn't talk everyday. :(

Wow, I never really realized that but that is so true. It makes me sad too because there are only about three of you that I still talk to regularly. And man, you guys are some of my best friends. I like you guys a lot more than I like half of the people I know in real life, so it is sad that we're not talking the way we used to. :( Especially when I DID drift apart from my best friends in real life a few years ago. I had friends since then, but none of them were really best friends, that's where you guys came in.

We need to try harder. :( *hugs*

I wish it wasn't true. Cuz just like you said you guys are some of my best friends and it sucks COMPLETE ass that we never talk anymore. And most of the time I'd rather talk to you guys then my friends in real life but I just don't anymore :( But we are gonna start trying harder now!
