I haven't posted here since forever and I didn't even realise, because I actually went and started typing out stuff about a dozen times, then realised no one but me could possibly give the slightest step-child of a damn about it so I stopped. Just heard back from my friend and she went to the Uni of Sheffield not Leeds but she heard Leeds was pretty good not sure why I thought it was Leeds she went to I mean they do sound alike and stuff.............................shoosh it's what happens when you get old you get confused easily

Ohhhh awesome! Thank you :3 I'm really glad, because tbh I would feel more at home in the UK, I think. Aus culture/UK culture, very similar. But then I start thinking, well, is that good? Should I go somewhere kind of ~exotic?

I know what you mean, but i'm lazy and would be inclined to do my studying somewhere familiar, and then travel to "exotic" climes when i don't have essays and shit to do :D

Yeah, I feel the same, but then sometimes I consider that since Aus is so far from ~everywhere, any travel is a Big Deal, and therefore i should just go for it

but not going home because

that's not the point of an exchange

Ohh, thank you! And it's really really helpful to know what Leeds the city is like, because my relatives in England were all "eh, never been" and totally unhelpful

well if the north makes you fond than that's a good recommendation in itself :3
