Do any of you guys read Crazy Days and Crazy Nights? I know a lot of people write this guy off as making crap up sometimes, but I'm not so sure. Hollywood is a strange place that breeds strange people.

Still, I felt really disappointed at this blind item revealed:

Hmmmm.

Well, they both are relatively young, so I was kind of surprised they were engaged. Plus, I've never been sure what I think of her.

But if that's true, that totally sucks.

I think there's more to the story that we don't know, assuming it is true.

It's also possible that he... literally doesn't care? Open relationships/shades of poly are more and more accepted in our generation, I find, and I'm sure it's pretty prevalent in the entertainment industry. If so, that's kind of cool.

Perhaps, but I'd find that surprising. I've been considering this a lot and while I think open relationships seem good in theory, in practice, they don't tend to work out because one party becomes insecure or doesn't live up to the terms of whatever deal those people have struck. I do believe "to each their own," but it would still surprise me, at the very least. I guess there's a lot we don't necessarily know about peoples' private lives and as I mentioned above, I think there's more to this story than what's on the surface.

Furthermore, if open relationships worked more prevalently, I think there would be a lot more lasting relationships in Hollywood and the entertainment industry, as it makes the most sense for the lifestyles these folks lead. However, more often than not, feelings and egos get in the way, I think. Not that I'm trying to go off on a diatribe. I just always feel sad every time I see another long-lasting relationship in Hollywood die off and wonder why people in the industry have so much trouble making it ( ... )
