I would NOT be up this late if Wes hadn't gone out to the store and bought Rock Band (warning: link has sound) for our Xbox 360. I have been doing the "singer" portion (because I cannot physically play instruments - not even the stupid Guitar Hero guitar :P) and I actually made it pretty far. I really want Rock Band. My boyfriend and I got Guitar Hero, but it only comes with one guitar and you can't buy extras...which seriously impedes any multiplayer fun. I have managed to be able to shred on medium though, which is pretty great considering that two weeks ago I couldn't play one note on easy bass.

It's RIDICULOUS and fun. And the pieces for it are surprisingly nice; for instance, the microphone actually feels heavy like a real microphone, and the drum set is adjustable and a good size. I've heard the guitar kind of sucks, but you can use the Guitar Hero guitar with the game, so if it breaks, it's not a huge deal. Plus, if you have the GH guitar, you can have a 4-person band and that (apparently) is a load of fun! We're probably going to go over to a friend's house tonight to play. I can't wait!!
