I keep thinking that I'm going to make a real thought out post about Deathly Hallows but now I see that that's not going to happen. The more I talk about it with the people around me (and I have discovered over that past week that a huge percentage of the people I know and new friends of friends that I have met have read or are reading it right now ( Read more... )

Yes. I've yet to organize my thoughts into anything. Hm. It has been REALLY HARD not to be allowed to talk about it (my mom didn't finish the book for a couple days after me and no one else has so we have to be quiet and sneaky to talk about it at all now).

Also. Holy shit Jensen.

It was very hard when T hadn't finished yet. Especially 'cause he kept wanting to talk about OotP and after finishing DH I realized how much foreshadowing there was and he'd mention something and I'd be like, I can't talk about that.

Yeah. Jensen. It really is like looking into the sun.

Great minds and all that. :D

Also, I was just saying to Lucia how I can't wait to talk to you in person about the book 'cause she's all not understanding the appeal of the Slytherins.

JKR's treatment of the Slytherins makes me glad that I'm not as entrenched in HP fandom as I was when HBP came out 'cause then I'd probably be really disappointed. Now I'm just kind of, eh, and trying not to think about it too much.

I think you're right though either you get the Slytherin love or you don't and I always fall for the bad guys so of course I find the Slytherins fascinating. The funny thing about your explanation, though, is that Snape is the only Slytherin that Lucia found interesting at all. And my reason for why Draco was interesting was because he just IS. I'm lazy too.

I will know all the travel stuff before the end of the day today, there's a bit of confusion about where exactly I'm picking Lucia up but once I know that I'll be figuring out when and where and all that.

Also, I've decided that I am going to buy a mixed case of wine with the 10% discount so if you've got any requests let me know.

I was reminded how much I really kind of love Bruce Willis. Also, there is something very very appealing about Justin Long.

I know! I hearts me some Willis, but I was seriously on the fence about Long, and to boot, I thought that his role was gonna make him be all boring and predictable and stuff. But I thought Long did really well.

I didn't even realize who Long was at first, just that he was very familiar until T pointed out that he was one of the geek kids from Galaxy Quest. He's been type cast, but he's damn good at that type.
