Jeff and I headed up to Pennslovakia this weekend to drag the trailer back here for its winter stay as well as take care of other business. We went out shopping for a new dishwasher for Jeff's 'rents since their old one finally gave up the ghost after slowly falling apart. We found a display model at a substantial discount. Teaberry ice cream (and gum, for that) was common in that part of PA when I was growing up. It grew more and more scarce as I got older. I miss it.

I DID get TastyKakes recently, though. ;)

I went to college in Selinsgrove and worked at a Shamokin radio station. I still visit the area on occasion to see friends.

I love Teaberry - I've only had the chewing gum flavor though. You don't see it much, but when I see it in the store I'll usually grab some.

Mentioning TastyKake brings back memories of growing up in Delaware. I've noticed that I can get their Koffee Kakes at Jersey Mike's Subs. Heaven.
