Weekend update late

I've been lax in timely updates. Not all has been spent stumbling around like Pegleg the Pirate on ice, though. Late last week I braved the DMV/MVA for all of about 20 minutes to acquire a temporary handicap parking tag for the car. This will allow me some temporary rockstar/Doris Day parking while I get through my period of defective leggedness.

There is a little cafe/deli/bakery in P-Town called "Relish". They fly a bear flag outside the door. Awesome place.

Yes, that's the same guy. He showed us some of his 'signature moves".

Be sure you check your hair in the rear-view mirror when you slide into that Doris Day parking spot ;)

It can be frustrating while you're recuperating, that you can't do things like you're used to, but take heart. This will pass, you'll get better, and it will become a memory. You can be proud of what you could do even with a bum leg.
