Update on the job front

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who replied to my post about the production job. I had my test today and I think it mostly went well. I decided that I'll ask if they can give me a flexible schedule until December so I can finish school on time. I'm going to ask for one day off, and I'll work 8 hours for the rest of the week. I used rulers and guides initially, but it's hard to get specific. I can measure 3 mm apart, but once you get into decimals, it gets sticky.

Oh wait - line the bottom of the logo up with the top of the text, select the logo, right click -> transform -> move -> vertical 3.2mm should place it precisely.

Make sure you change your units to mm in edit-> preferences.

use the transform window. get the measurement of the top of the item that you need to be 3.22 mm from, then place the bottom of the logo 3.22 from that measurement. you can just put +3.22 in there and it will move it exactly where it needs to be.
