about her own feelings… her feelings about the whole situation, she clarified, not about Snape.

You keep telling yourself that, Hermione! I get the impression that she was reluctant to leave... even with the boys presumably almost bouncing in their need to hear an explanation.

I'm not so sure that was denial, actually... it might also have meant that she didn't need to figure out her feelings about Snape because she was already somewhat clear on them. But only Hermione knows, really!

I do like what you've done with Ron and Harry here - Ron rushing in unthinking and almost making her drop Severus, while Harry calmly takes command. And Hermione paying close enough attention to notice the quality of the hug. Little moments, but telling ones.

Thanks. And yeah - I figured it might work as an interesting counterpoint to Hermione's cynicism about Ron in yesterday's set - of course he'd have been worried! (But still Ron, acting before thinking.)
