Session Five - Bloodrock
The Brotherhood spent the next day and night travelling to Bloodrock on the Reflections, most spending the time alone lost in contemplation. Phoena received a message form her mother. Though she conceded to some of Phoena's, it was not without reservations. The troops were to be under her mother's command and she required more information before agreeing to any patronage. Casis also noted that Janan had gone rogue. Adona heard a whisper and she tracked it back to her warstrider, Umbral Shift. The voice of her dead father floated out from the new Soulsteel arm. He announced that he was to be her guide as she had requested by Eye and Seven Despairs.
In the morning, the Reflections arrived at Bloodrock, the town where Morn had seen his father last in his vision and where Blazing Raven's Circle had passed through. After some inquiries about the town, it was discovered that a meteor similar to those the Brotherhood had encountered around Denandsor had landed nearby. Though an infection had followed, the town had successfully cordoned that part of the town off and stopped its spread.
Across the cordon, the Brotherhood encountered a newly formed spiritual entity chained to the crater. It revealed that it was of Vadrak, some power in the North, and its purpose was to destroy. It was forced into manifesting and dispatched. In the crater site, boot prints could be seen which still emanated Infernal essence. It seemed like the meteor was some Infernal entity leaping about Creation at impossible speed and distances, creating these areas of corruption in its wake. Nothing of Morn's father or the Circle remained, so the Brotherhood left for Greyfalls.
