Well... I watched Grey's Anatomy.
Still glad I watched The Office last night, because even if I spent 43 minutes on this today... there's a lot more day left to make up for it.
Bailey said it best "I'm speechless." (and not in a good way.)
On the sliding scale it was better than the season finale, exceeded my ridiculously low expectations, but still

do you think you are going to keep watching GA this season?

Last night was the first night I didn't either watch the new episode live or rush home as soon as I could and watch it asap. That tells me a lot about my feelings on the matter.

I just watched, and will be posting my thoughts shortly. But I pretty much agree with everything you've said.

(I've got 6 more Bones season 2 episodes left and then I'm all caught up... although I think I've already seen 3 of them, but whatever.)

I was going to buy Bones s2, b/c I haven't seen all of them either, but I'm too poor. Maybe it'll be on sale around Christmas or I can ask for it as a present.

I'd have to say, the stagnancy of their immaturity is what bothers me the most. They act like my friends and I--when we were in high school. Seriously. These people are supposed to be in their late 20s, 30s, and in some cases 40s, and I don't buy Callie's season 3 assertion that they're "slow" because they "spent all that time in medical school." That's just lame.
I also realize if they were completely well-adjusted, it would E.R. and a certain amount of growth and drama is necessary, but if Shonda could tone down the latter and add more--or any--of the former, then maybe I could tolerate it.
Whoa, novel. Sorry.
In short? Word.

I'm okay with acting irrationally if it's rationally explained. But there's a line of believability that's been forgotten. But I'm convinced that your characters act your demo... There was some article a while back about in the 2 years since Grey's aired, their average age of viewer has gotten two years older (I think it was in the 40's). I didn't think this was bad... I thought it was good because it showed the audience was staying put... but where the target demo is the younger audience, the characters seem to be reduced to the maturity of the demo. And honestly? Sometimes I feel like I'm watching an overbudgeted teendrama on the WB.
Basically? I agree with you.
