He's not fully staffed, bu that won't stop him from opening the doors. There is a need for medical personell, as ell as staff to answer phones and organise paperwork and such.
There is a noticeable void in the community. There are hospials, sure, and general practitioners all over the place. But they are, for the most part, money hungry business mogels who really don't care about the other guy. All they care about is lining their own pockets. There are exceptions, of course. He knew that well because when he'd ben employed by a rather large and accredited hospital, he'd been one.
He had a reputation for being a jerk. For staying away from his patients. There was a reason for it. One he was't willing to admit, even to himself. But appearances can be misleading. It wasn't that he didn't care, it was that he did.
And so, he left the hospital where he worked, and carved out a niche in a new town. A realtively small clinic, nestled among the streets of town. Quiet, he didn't make a big deal about it. He didn't want to call attention to himself. He meant to service the underground, the victims of violence or bad luck or whatever, that for some reason weren't comfortable going to a hospital or a mainstream clinic.
The clinic will run on donations. No need for insurance, no payment required at the time of service. Patients are expected to pay as they can, and no more. The proprietor of the clinic is more than wealthy, and able to support the business with the help of generous donations.
For the opening of the clinic doors, he's set up a small buffet table of cookies and pastries and drinks. He's not expectin any patients tday, but he certainly wouldn't turn anyone away.
[OOC: I'm still working out the kinks, and I'm not sure how much active need there will be for a clinic, but it's here for all your medical needs. This is the official grand opening of House's clinic, so feel free to drop by, or whatever. Mods, if we could get a clinic entry tag, that would be great.]
