Mere hours after Yahoo informs me that "ginormous" has been added to Merriam-Webster's, I see it used in a sentence on Weather.com. "Ginormous invasion: tons of snakes and billions of mice."
It hurts, it hurts. When used verbally, after a show of struggling to find a word big enough to express the idea, it can be kind of cute. It does not belong in the god-damned dictionary.
