I would like to echo nicolesgrace in the following:

Eve Kendall in North By Northwest

Marnie in Marnie

Maggie the Cat in Cat on a Hot Tin RoofI really can't picture this and therefore it would have been interesting to see

I would've liked to see her in East of Eden instead of Julie Harris (who, IMO was seriously miscast).

Ooh, I still need to see that. I have read part of the book and I know that James Dean AND Paul Newman were in the film.

I bet this would have worked really well.

I liked Julie Harris in East of Eden but at times I thought she was a little dull. I adore the film though. James Dean was so brilliant. WOW.

I have actually never thought of her in that role, but it sounds fantastic.

I have never seen Designing Woman. I should check it out. I only know that she was considered for the role but Lauren Bacall got it because Grace went off to Monaco (oh, Monaco damn you!).
