Gah...that's exactly what I'm using! :-(

Any clue how to fix it? *imploring look* It's really making me nervous not having my firewall up.

Did you update XP this week, and are you using ZoneAlarm?

Edit: Never mind, read the other comment.

One of the updates, KB951748, has a wee issue with it, and if Zone Alarm is set on high security for the internet zone, you may not be able to get online.If you hit this problem, all you have to do is turn the IZone security down to medium, which is still plenty safe.

I actually have ZA set to Medium anyway, and I was still having problems. Didn't want to try turning it down any lower than that.
