So, in my continued quest to read every Black Widow appearance ever!!eleven I finally found scans of the 2007 White Tiger mini. It wasn't exactly what I expected in a spin-off of Bendis/Maleev Daredevil.
I like Tamora Pierce, I've read some of her novels. And the White Tiger series wasn't bad taken on it's own, it's just not the direction I would have really thought of/hoped for.
Also Natasha was kind of strange. And saying "I'm down with that."
Actually, hmmm, in terms of hair color, they originally previewed Black Widow #1 with the first cover image, but they later replaced it and changed...THE HAIR.
It's kind of the orange red in the preview interiors. I think the darker colors look better on the cover with the red in the background, buut how much of this has to do with the movie?
I mean, you have to understand something. Her world, though anime, is not a spiky anime hair world. Everyone else has fairly normal everyday looking, not-gravity defying hair. JUST Maggie gets to look like she rolled out of bed, hung upside down, and rubbed mousse through her never brushed hair.
There are a few characters who do have oddly colored hair, but it's notable that they are all either created-in-a-test-tube-genetically-engineered-superhumans or the children thereof.

Also, Selina's hair randomly turned brown for a while. I think she dyed it as a mommy, but this is pre-preggers...
