I learned a long time ago not to trust the Ministry. They only say what will make them come out looking roses while sending fake condolences to who ever their latest futile attempt at legislation failed to protect.

I find it laughably ironic that the people on "our" side are using bigotry and outright racism as a weapon which is precisely what the purebloods in you-know-who's inner circle got all gooey over."
I would go so far as to add "deeply disconcerting" to your list of adjectives describing the current governmental scene, especially for those of us that have become something of a spoke in their useless wheel.
If I enjoyed throwing compliments about, I would congratulate you on your well-phrased and civil form of anarchy. Intelligence seems in short supply in the present atmosphere, and arguments infused with any level of clarity are, for lack of a better word, refreshing.

I'm glad I have done more than simply impress at least one person with this. To be honest I was more reacting in anger that attempting to reason in any structured fashion. But, I see my proclivities have shown through despite this
