Dear Entertainment Weekly, Why, in the July 22 issue's Comic-Con Preview intro, were we fangirls not only denied an exclamation point, but also regulated to the parentheses? Did equality die when I wasn't looking? And I had thought we geek women had come so far. For shame, EW, for shame.

Love this hilarious "deleted scene" from Lost. I, for one, ( Read more... )

I'm definitely thinking of making a tribute icon to Peter Jackson -- you know, with the text "Because I'm awesome". Because he is, dang it! :D

Yes, he is. If only we could clone him and give one to each fandom.

The new Doctor Who is both cool and scary.

(And so is TV Tropes! :))

Actually, Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg are BOTH huge Dr Who fans which is why they had hired Steven Moffat to write all three Tintin films and then totally understood when he had to drop out of the project when he took over DW...he's still listed on the trailer. Yep, I would totally love for them to do some sort of guest spot...I think the number of former stars of Moffat's shows in The Hobbit also testifies to that. Plus, Peter Jackson being so willing to make sure Sherlock wasn't pushed back because he was using the stars.

I think Aidan Turner makes a hotter dwarf but I'm such a bad Armitage fangirl that I didn't recognize him in Captain American until I saw the credits.

Too bad all three of them are so awesmoe and busy that they can't work together of something. Something Doctor Who related. That would kill.

Wait, what? Richard Armitage is in Captain America? Damn, now I have to go see that thing?

I am soooo pumped for Downton Abbey. Some reason, I just have such a craving for it!
