Just for curiosities sake, if you are a Christian then why would Jewish beliefs be an option? We are in need of a new children's minister too. Things are so unorganized right now it's not even funny.

Jesus Was a jew. he celebrated all the jewish holidays He sat down to the passover seder. When one is a messianic jew or my preferred thought a completed jew we want to keep our heritage and yet worship in a new way. Jesus came to free us. He came down and said ," whoa there ease up on all your rules and regulations. God is love and this isn't what he had planned for you." The jews made ALOT of rules. For example during the sabbath which is friday at sundown till saturday at sundown you are not allowed to carry anything in public, or cook food or do anything remotely resembling work. But Jews worship the same God they read the same bible BUT the now jew refuses to acknowledge what Jesus Christ came to do. They do not read the new testament and are still waiting for their savior. I on the other hand have accepted christ. Christ is the new covenant with his people. In Hebrews 8:13 it speak about the new covenant replacing the old and the old way disappearing however Jesus also that he did not come to abolish the old laws( Sorry I ( ... )

I didn't mean any offense. I heard someone on the radio that was talking about Messianic Jews and it was really interesting. I really didn't know there was such. A friend of mine married a Jewish person and she had to renounce Christ, and so I thought that's what you were talking about. Thank you for clearing it up for me. Not that it's any of my business, I'm just nosy!

No worries. I didn't take any offense. I actually just love Talking about it so I can of go overboard. lol And use that is the general rule on marrying a jew. They are pretty strict on it. My family is rather upset that I believe but All i can do is follow the truth.
