Classes started for me here at Centre yesterday, and though I was dreading it, I really must say that I'm looking forward to learning (as I always do). Applause!!!! Kayley, I really like what you said. If God ever tells me to leave Berea, or if I ever become unhappy with being a physics major, I'm finished. We're here to serve God and gain wisdom in his ways, not to earn money. Granted, if its possible that you could have five or six children, then yes having a good job is important. But happiness in Jesus is way more important than grades. Unfortunately for me, I didn't realize this for a long time.

yes. and i must say i'm so very glad someone else at centre believes that money is meaningless. i tell my friends that i don't believe in money and they scoff at me.

anyway, because i'm sure you don't really know me, i'll just say: my name is Rachel; i'm an english/french double major/french minor (love what i do for love's sake); i live on the floor below you and know of you mostly through erica and keri (your greek relations)...

i love reading this journal of yours. it gives me hope.
