I liked the atmosphere, and I liked the tone. A lot of times girlslash doesn't do it for me, but this was lovely and smoky and sleek. An earlier comment said they found Dick's characterization somewhat thin. I think that has more to do with Dick simply not being as much in the story as Babs and Selina, and in any case, seeing him through Babs' eyes is its own education; it's very much her story, after all. You get the sense of how much she does care for and value him.

I always enjoy your stories but rarely comment. Thanks for writing stories that are so cool to read. :)

I really appreciate you taking the time to leave this comment; I've been in something of a tailspin about this fic since posting it, so it's more than simply reassuring to hear that the story found a receptive reader in you. Restricting the voice to Babs' head meant I had to leave a lot of stuff out, but I had been fairly pleased with what it allowed me to include. I'm glad to know you liked the inclusions, too.

I don't know the thrillkiller verse, sounds like something I might want to check out.

As you know, I love Dick and Babs but I also really love Selina and what I liked here was this was a Babs and Selina shaken and stirred but still very recognizable. It's harder to gauge Dick here, mostly he's seen here as the guy who will do anything for Babs (which is true enough, but that's only a small part of him.)

I found this very hot (you always write great porn!) and there really isn't enough girl on girl action in general.

Thrillkiller's very interesting from the standpoint of worldbuilding - a Gotham that's *not* an emanation/reflection of Bruce Wayne's particular issues/neuroses/psychoses. Babs is the first Bat, Selina is, unfortunately, a stripper, and Dick is Babs' gigolo-pretty boy.

Oh, wonderful! When I was fiddling around with this idea and ran it past petronelle, she pointed out that this Dick is both old enough and *without* weird mommy-issues around Selina, and that's what let me give this a whirl. In the main canon, as much as I really want a Batman/Robin/Catwoman threesome, I can't make it work (and for once, it's not just Bruce's fault *g*).

I think my favorite part of this is the voices. This is really clearly Thrillkiller Babs and Thrillkiller Dick, down to his sulky utter devotion and her careless ease and affection for him.

They're so *young*, and it shows.

It's all about the costume. When she's the Bat, she's mean and *fierce*, flying low and striking hard. When she's dolled up as the ditzy heiress, she laughs quicker than champagne and dances all night.

And, now, wearing trousers and tipping her fedora brim to the prettiest girls as she strides down Sprang, she's all man. She's taking up too much space, her arms swinging free, as she adopts Dick's liquid swagger. It's in the hips and jut of the shoulders, Zitka's pressure burning warm between her legs, a cock of her head and wide grin. It's the confidence that she belongs and can take whatever she wants.Oooooooohhhhhhhh. Guh. Yes. Laughing quicker than champagne is *beautiful*, and this Babs would totally think 'dolled up.' Oooh man. I'm afraid that my comment won't be too coherent, because I think the Dick/Babs centre of my brain has been overstimulated and shut down.

I love the irrepressibility of thrillkiller Babs, the way she won't let anyone or anything dictate her actions and gets herself into trouble that way. I think thrillkiller!Babs' defining characteristic is that she doesn't want to hurt people, but refuses to let that stop her from doing what she knows she shouldn't.
