I love my toys--part two

There are a good number of Daredevil figures on the market over the years, but very few "unmasked" or Matt Murdock figures. I'd like to see that change ( Read more... )

Oh, those are fantastic! I especially love the GI Joe!

One question, though--why is the second Minimate Matt walking into a wall? *giggle*

Thanks for the closeup of the unmasked Matt-in-costume figure, too!

Actually, I cropped the bigger picture, where he was next to my Japanese/English and French/English dictionaries on that shelf of my desk. For some reason, Matt had gotten turned around on the shelf, and I originally called the larger pic "Matt gets lost in a foreign land". *snicker ( ... )

LOL! Maybe he's just pretending to be lost. Matt's sneaky like that.

I do love the gloves on the MWOF Joe! And the other one's carrot-top hair is fantastic.

That's what I love about Minimates, that you can swap the pieces around and do some funny stuff with them.

Hee! Yes. I've put Jean Grey's hair on Professor X before...

Why is the red headed G. I. Joe walking with a cane?

Why is the red headed G. I. Joe walking with a cane?

Because he's now supposed to be Matt Murdock in "civilian" clothes, and Matt is blind. The cane came with my 12" scale Daredevil figure. There has never been a "Matt Murdock" action figure, so I customized a GI Joe. Total comic book geekiness here.

The action figures are neat! It's a shame Matt/Daredevil isn't a more well known character. And considering he's one of the few 'heroes' who has a disability too.

Yeah, compared to Spider-Man and the Hulk, Daredevil gets the short stick when it comes to merchandise. I'd bet that for every 500 items with Spidey on it, there MIGHT be one DD item. The odds are probably a lot higher than that, come to think of all the stuff you can buy with Spidey on them. Ever see any DD sheets or underoos? Didn't think so.

James, don't you know he's blind, dude? He's hiding behind a wall so he can change into his DD duds.

(Repeated from earlier post)Actually, I cropped the bigger picture, where he was next to my Japanese/English and French/English dictionaries on that shelf of my desk. For some reason, Matt had gotten turned around on the shelf, and I originally called the larger pic "Matt gets lost in a foreign land". *snicker*

Wow! these fgures are just awesome. In fact, I think that Matt looks fine with the costume byt sans the mask! Maybe because his ginger hair and red costume match so well, LOL. If he went around like that, girls would be chasing him all the time (in spite of the dangers of being a Murdock woman)

You complain, and rightly, that there is so little merchandising stuff about old Hornhead... Still, there are things worse than this... I mean, there are ABSOLUTELY NO Foggy Nelson figures at all! Ouch, ouch
