your going off to college, you get to do whatever whenever and not have any parents around checking up on you telling you to do the dishes,clean your room etc., in other words... yes you should be excited. its not like your going off to a distant land where you will marry some nasty old man and be a baby making machine and never see your family friends or home ever again.
