Lol, yeah, me too. But I seem to have a thing for stories set in polar conditions. And while this setting wasn't quite that bad, it was close enough.

I did enjoy it; I think you will, too.

I know what you mean about polar conditions; they do lead to some good stories.

I have d/l'd a sample (to go with the other ::coughs:: we shan't say how many samples I have already *g*). Actually, I'm going to make a personal challenge next year to go through my sample folder and do something about the contents *g*

For me it's ebooks I've bought through Bookbub. Will I ever get through all of them? I doubt it!

I've read this book. I ended up really liking it for the most part. I do believe the author used to be a professional snowboarder so more than likely it is all correct although I have never snowboarded in my life so I don't have the foggiest idea. lol I know what you mean by the ending I was surprised by a couple of the twists.

Yes, I think she mentions that in the foreword, that she snowboards. Or did. I think it's crazy, but it made for a good story.

I just recently came across this one, I think it was in one of the Amazon emails, and looked at it but ultimately didn't put it on my WTR list. Sounds like I made the right choice.

Hopefully you enjoy your next book a lot more.

Actually, I did enjoy it, with a small quibble. Enough that I'll probably look up her other books. You might give it a rethink.
