So let me get this straight...Mom of three Irish boys, and we all know what that means, homemaker, seamstress, wife, and general world wide encourager and you are disheartened because someone who has nothing but time does something that you like better than something you have done ( ... )

You are totally thinking like a normal human! Seriously. We all have the same expectations ... I should be able to just do it.

Just remember, practice when you can and don't ever let someone else's work bring you down. (it's hard, I know!) You are talented!! Go from there.

Keeping in mind that my best art is a stick figure (yes, what you would call 'ass' is better than anything I've drawn on my best day!), I cannot entirely relate to the artistic gift you have been given, and what it takes to maintain said talent.

However, I do enjoy photography (and still use FILM as opposed to going digital). I have shot up rolls and rolls and rolls of film......and I have found that for about every 72 shots, I get about 40 that are okay, 30 that really suck, and maybe 2 that are superior.

So yeah, it takes practice...but hey, you don't have the expense of film and development in there...so that's a good thing, right?
