Musical Monday - Find Your Grail from Spamalot

Today's Musical Monday, I'm trying to deal with inspirational songs. Songs that kick me in the ass and try to get me out of my funk. So I looked to Broadway, where you can always find a good pick me up tune. Today we visit King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table in Spamalot. Here's hoping we all find our grail.

Jennifer Holiday's original version of "And I'm Telling You, I am not Going" from Dreamgirls is pretty good.

This version is soooooo much faster than in ours. And let me tell you, backstage, it just drags on and on and on....

Though when I finally got to watch it, it was one of my favorite numbers.

It is an awesome number. . .and I so want to see this show. Then again when I was younger I was such a Monty Python fan. Found a Holy Grail shirt over the holidays on a discount rank, and well, just had to buy it. :oD
