The feeling came upon her suddenly. One minute she was floating from bubble to bubble in the Furthest Ring, checking on her friends and pondering what to do next. The next moment she felt a mighty yank and careened into a nearby bubble

Ginny had been asleep. It had taken her longer than usual, given what she had seen of her brother, but eventually she had managed it.

The next thing she knew, an unfamiliar voice was speaking to her. Slowly stirring, her eyes fluttered open and she groaned a little at the sudden brightness.

Slowly sitting up, her gaze fell onto the cord around her wrist, then travelled to the humanoid but evidentally not human figure in front of her. Not really awake or aware enough to come up with much else, she uttered a simple, confused, "What?"

Aradia sat back on the hard ground as Ginny came awake, smiling at the human girl and hoping she didn't freak out. "Hello," she said, and waggled grey fingers at her. "My name's Aradia. Are you a member of that duckbeast community?"

Ginny watched the grey figure warily, curious but still uncertain and groggy from sleep to boot. As that latter matter faded, she recovered enough to reply.

"Yes...I don't remember meeting you before. I'm Ginny."

This was better than Ginny's brother's reaction, at least, though Aradia didn't know Ginny was related to Ron.

"It's nice to meet you, Ginny. I'm afraid I don't remember meeting you before, either," Aradia admitted. "But I guess the community's decided we should meet... or something. Does this seem like a virus to you?"
