Someone, I can't remember who, was really annoyed by the default behaviors of the mac keyboard application switching (open-apple + tab) and today i came across this software review

Note also the default Cmd-` (command-tilde, I guess) behavior is switch-windows, and Cmd-Tab switches applications. Just one of those artifacts of the distinction between windows (small-w windows, I mean) and applications which MacOS makes and MSWindows does not.
i still hate it. and i had a program that fixed it, but it annoyed me that it was shareware and that the API function calls weren't documented making it hard to write a program to do it myself.
