  • I got put onto an ongoing team at work. \o/ This is very good news for my general job security, and has me feeling better in general, though I'm not officially hired on yet. Still, this makes me happy, as I actually like this job, and you know, not coming home miserable has been a huge plus in my life. Now as long as I do as well with the ( Read more... )

SO VERY, VERY AWESOME.
The liquid is soooo much easier, even though the vet tried to tell us otherwise.

1. apparently the true blood show is nothing like the books? i still won't watch it, but that's what the internet tells me. so it shouldn't matter if you wait or not.

2. i've also heard that VD is really good, but i refuse to watch it. unless someone told me that scene in the woods was done verbatim, in which case i would watch the shit out of it. #justsaying

3. OH HAI.

4. i have your combination pizza hut/taco bell birthday/christmas gift here. and last year's christmas gift. fyi. i'm going to write expiration dates on them and then claim them as my own soon :p

2. That's what I've heard, but I was very 'meh' about the bits I watched before I gave it up. IDK.

3. OHAI.

4. Oh man. OKAY WE NEED TO SCHEDULE SOME TIME FOR SRS. I have your shit too, although I think I might have lost part of it >.> ... I shall look for that!

2. i feel like the people who love it don't understand how awesome damon actually is. we were talking about fucking the dead last week (don't ask) and i was like, "no, no sex with the dead. unless you count vampires as the dead, and then there's one exception to the rule. (ash.) oh, maybe two, i forgot about daaaaaaaamon."

4. faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaail!

The True Blood books are fantastic, number four was my favorite! Seasons 1 and 2 stick close enough to the books, but they've definitely taken more liberties in the third series. If they don't stick closely to the fourth, I may cry. haha.

And VD has gotten heaps better this season. I... only got through the first five chapters of the first book before giving up on it because I was already sold on the show version, so I'm totally biased. But I say check it out because it's awesome and Lucas Boone Ian Somerhalder is way hot?

i'm still watching vampire diaries, and this season has definitely had a serious upswing. it's absolutely nothing like the books, but i'm still okay with devoting an hour of my life every week to it.

also? this just in -- i miss your face.

yeah, that's probably best.

and no, this is the first nano i'm not doing. too much job-related stress. didn't want to compound it by trying to write a novel.
