It wasn't a great place but it wasn't my lowest, it's about a year after that. Anyway, it's more about the language. I'm very proud of bits of this. Shame the POV drifts a bit and it gets a bit rambly in places (but then that's my writing in a nutshell!).
It reminds me of stuff I wrote for my degree - a lot of that I don't even understand how I ever wrote it, I can barely understand it now!
I remember this excellent study of Illyria. Thanks for posting and reminding us of what she was. If we'd got a Season 6, I doubt Joss would have stayed true to the character we saw in the few episodes in which she appeared.
I would still have liked some more Illyria though. Not if Joss was hell bent on turning her into a clone of Fred and 'redeeming her' through the love of a good man Wesley. Unless he sent her off to join the Immortals now that I could understand.
