scary thing is, you do not have to know how to read to pass the drivers test. if you cant read, they will have someone read the questions to you and write your answers for you.
i think that is why all of the signs are different shapes and colors. so you don't have to know what they say to know what they mean. but then again i do live in mississippi, and maybe it is just here that people don't know how to read.
Dude you think about how many people can't read or write. Now, imagine those same people with high school degrees. Isn't that incredibly scary? It really freaks me out. That's one of the reasons I have such a huge problem with people who lack proper grammar/spelling skills. It really makes me nervous that a 40 year old doesn't have a good grasp of the difference between there, their and they're. Or you're and your. I really don't get how people can function in a world or pass high school with such a poor grasp of the language we've all agreed upon.
The terrible thing is that those people have a high school diploma, and I don't! Hehe.
Jesse's dad is a genius, inventor, world student with an MA who wrote a book on evolution and biology, and wanted ME to read it and edit it... yet my public high school was all too eager to kick me out of the education system at 15 hehe.

If I can't read signs without my glasses and they wont let me drive without my glasses, how do they let people who can't READ AT ALL drive?
