Love this, love Kara mocking Sam (Kara, honey, he fell off a viper ladder. Somehow, that makes it worse). Like Liz's last line. *eg*

Jamaica Bay is, um, where Jean Grey's body was while the Phoenix was running around as her. Then when Marvel did stupid things with various X-Men, the joke was "the real X is off in Jamaica Bay, at an Inn, drinking margaritas" which then morphed into my own, personal canon where the Jamaica Bay Inn is host to many people, from many many canons. The terrace staff are policed with an iron fist by Janet Frasier.

OMG, this is so great. I know you're gonna give me some links, right? And I'm so glad I wrote something that fits into this world of yours - I've always been a sucker for things with that whole Night of the Iguana feel to them.

Anyway, thanks for the cool prompt. "____ & ____ walk into a bar" has ENDLESS possibilities, although I'll probably never be able to write it again without thinking of your Jamaica Bay (and I'm OKAY with that).

And poor Sam. Kara can't even cut him slack when she's... whatever she is in this fic. Heh.
