Okay, I'm mostly using Genki I: An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese for my Japanese lessons, but I've been looking at other sources, too. TextFugu seems a few exercises that focus on mentally preparing yourself to learn Japanese--something that many other sources seem to lack.
