Yesterday Dad stopped by to visit for a bit. In the course of conversation he blurts out - Are you two going to get married?"  I just kind of look at him for a minute without saying a word. He presses on - "if you are I would like you to wear my wedding ring." He takes off the ring my mother put on his hand 45 years ago and hands it to me

I think a long dress is too vulgar in these economic times, a simple traveling suit and a smart corsage are in far better taste. Perhaps a nice grey wool with pink trim.
