Yikes. That sounds utterly terrifying. I remember when my nephew was hospitalized with a kidney infection when he was 2 months old. I wasn't even in the state at the time, but the sense of helplessness was so intense. I can't even imagine how helpless his parents felt. (Thankfully, he made a full recovery, and all is well.)

I hope you get a chance to relax soon, and that the breastfeeding wound heals soon! I'm sending good thoughts to you and Eric and William.

Yeah, it wasn't a fun weekend for anybody, I don't think. Windycon will definitely be relaxing when it comes - only a week away now! My injury is also fully healed, thank god...
