As promised, we're gearing up for a second round of the GBB. Sign-ups are starting in just about two weeks, guys, so get ready! \o/ Here's some information for you so you can start planning out what you want to write. :D

Could you clarify a bit for me please, rough drafts are due Jan 31, but what level of completion are you looking for at that time? I'm participating in the J2/Kane BB and their rough draft requirement was half the min word count. I'm just trying to work out how long I'd have to write the story since I'm nervous about being able to produce the required words in the allotted time. (I mean, I'm pretty sure I can do it, but the more time the better, right?)
Our rough draft requirements are the full minimum word count (15,000 words), and the story needs to be complete (a clear beginning and body, and a definitive ending). This way, your artist will have a full story to work with, even if you still need to go back and add some scenes later. :)
Okay, this may be stupid, but I wanna check. If I wanna do a story on Gabriel pre-SPN, as in focusing on him/his history before he ever met the brothers, would that be allowed or would that be considered too AU?
One more question if I may. What if we have to drop out? It's not like 'm planning on having to or anything, but I know 've got a lot on my plate already and this idea has been going through a lot of false starts already so I don't know if it's going to behave. I just don't wanna sign-up and then get in trouble if I have to drop out, so I was wondering the rules on that.
If you have to drop out, it's not a problem, we understand that sometimes RL happens and muses can be fickle creatures. We require completed drafts to be turned in so that dropping out is no longer an issue once an artist is involved. If you have to drop out before the claims, simply don't turn a rough draft in, and we'll scrub your name from the list, no harm done.
Quick question...I've already started on a TV Land style fic, Does this count as a cross-over? Shows will be obvious (hopefully) but I'm trying to keep named characters/hosts out of things and replace them with SPN people.
No, that will be fine. As long as the focus remains on the Supernatural people, and there aren't characters popping up from other places, it's more a fusion than anything, and that's perfectly acceptable. Especially since Gabriel made his version of TV Land canon. ;)
I have an idea for AU story where Gabriel goes all Trickster/just_deserved on Lucifer, but it kinda wants to be written from Sam POV and because of that it would kinda look like Sam's story. Will it be OK?
