Yeah, I was wondering that myself. Perhaps his abandoning of his family has everything to do with self preservation (ie, found what he had done to Matt and beat feet out of the vicinity because he couldn't figure out how to stop what he'd done).
Can Matt be the carrier and simultanously be unaffected by the virus? (Since obviously, his telepathy is working.) Otherwise, interesting theory
( ... )
Well, often true carriers of diseases don't know they are carriers because it doesn't affect them, so it could be quite possible.
And I have to agree with you on Peter, now. (I went back after my initial draft and added in the parenthetical re: Simone, and the more I think about his relationship with her, the more Caitlyn makes sense. Still, I want them to get on with it. Now.)
Peter's relationship with the Irish woman feels bizarrely forced to me. It's such a cliche and it's coming out of absolutely nowhere. I'm still boggled over the fact that he has amnesia, has the key to his identity in his hands... and hasn't acted on it. His entire storyline feels utterly fake to me this season. I can certainly see him sleeping with this girl because she's available, willing, and reasonably nice, but I don't believe that he's falling/fallen in love with her. Too fake.
I like the idea of Typhoid Matt, but I don't think there's any evidence to support it. It could just be that all of these people were already infected and the disease is just latent in them all until their powers kick in, and it's the powers that activate the disease.
And I agree that Mohinder out to be freezing a pint of his blood every few weeks.
Once I realized there was no more 'there' there with Simone, I'm okay with Peter's relationship with Irish!Simone. (WHY must all Irish women in tv shows be Caitlin...) The lack of interest over his identity bugs the shit out of me, though. And now, yay, he has :D Hahaha and that photo is one of his worldly possessions he travels with!
Re: the virus, quite possible. It was just when we got to thinking about the vector method and realizing who all of them had been around. Probably wrong, but interesting.
And Mohinder obviously doesn't have the common sense god gave a gnat...
