In a Gay Times article, it's mentioned that Jake was originally supposed to be in love with Ricky Smith (the Alt version of Mickey), then that was taken out. They say. Hah! I knew I saw subtext there!! *glee*

Hahahahahahaha awesome! Jake is the guy Ricky was running around with, right? Blonde dude? I saw that too! Especally at the end, when Mickey's saying how it's got to be hard for the guy, him looking like Ricky and all...

Hah! Knew it, absolutely knew it. And Jake was really cute and after all Mickey's been through, it would be nice for him to hook up with somebody good. Though that does suck to 'replace' somebody.
