Aha! That's a cunning plan for getting the gnome back!
Did Danio have flies circling around him as a baby? That's a fairly reliable indicator of 0-1 Neat points.
Oh crap! Not a crash! I hope you saved? Eeeeeep, and it didn't even help! I think the game doesn't like saving with scenarios in progress, and adopting a child counts as a scenario. (So does adopting a pet, I think. I know that having someone in the "pledge" period at a Greek house does, because I had to revert to backup after making *that* mistake.)
Of course Aberjack is turned off by someone with lots of cleaning points! If they're neat too, there's way less for her to clean, and that's a bad thing.
Well, at least the adoption worked eventually. Maybe the scenario clock started over or something?
The aliens like 'em cute and dumb, huh? ;P The game knows when you want alien abductions and doesn't give you any, but unfortunately it also knows when you don't want them and delights in supplying them.
Danio most likely has zero neat points. He actually doesn't mind being smelly, and does that "mm, smells good!" thing when he notices his own stench. D: If he ever goes diving in the garbage can I'll know for sure!
I thought my plan for getting the gnome back was pretty clever. XD I guess the scenario clock got reset when the crash happened. I was afraid it was hopelessly glitched when the SoWo didn't come the next day!
Haha! Good point about Amberjack's logic for disliking cleaning points. XD
I'm feeling a lot better than I did the other day! Almost 100% now. Thanks. :)
[Spoiler (click to open)] Aww, poor Hunter. With Perch so competent even on free will, he looks doubly so dumb. Poor boy!
That is quite a clever plan to try and get the gnome back!
Life isn't too easy for Danio either, is it?
Ouch about the crash at the critical moment! Phew, it worked out after all!
Go Hunter, you can do it!
I like Esme's theory on why Amberjack doesn't like cleaning skill on potential partners. It makes perfect sense! :)
Aww at Pike and his girlfriend. <3 (Hehe at InTeen.)
I think I read somewhere that bigfeet will ignore the hygiene need unless told to take care of it. Not sure though.
Go Hunter, you can do it!
I'm sorry, I had to laugh out loud at the last slide. :D It's true, the game must know when you don't need any more sims and then delight in giving you them. Just had a couple with three kids already get pregnant with twins myself. At least alien babies are green, and Hunter's genes are cute?
Fun update again! Also, glad to hear you're feeling better!
I just realized that the Sim I don't bother to direct or command does just fine, but the Sim I am in control of can't do crap right. It might be ME and not him! lol XD
Pike had a girlfriend for basically that one afternoon. He's not rolled a Want involving her since. :/
Keith definitely ignores his hygiene entirely! He also eats if there's food on the table even if he's not the least bit hungry. I've seen him polish off 3 servings of the same meal. >_<
Also about those toilet doors stuck open on those community lots, have you tried moving the ceiling lights one square away, or replacing them with wall lights instead when the ceiling light can't be moved away from lack of room??)
Adopting a grouchy kid is so brilliant, I would never have thought of that! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the one and only gnome, I've had gnomes snatched back I had forgotten had ever even been stolen. There's hope!
