The V&A quilt show (finally!)

As part of my busy-week programme, I finally managed to get to the quilt show at the V&A yesterday. This was amazingly good, and I fully intend to go again before it closes. Some very minor cavils first - it was very busy, crammed solid with frighteningly knowledgeable women, and rather dimly lit, which is quite understandable, but more ( Read more... )

I'm so glad you finally got to go to the Quilt Show! But it sounds like it's annoyingly popular.
I prefer to think of my unfinished crafting as "works in progress" and progress can be a very long term thing, don't you think?

I have a suitcase full of "works in progress" hidden under my bed, but every so often it gets taken out and I finally manage to finish something. The 1980s quilt will probably never see an end though - I can see it being dated by the papers some time in the next 100 years or so.

The migraine is much better, thanks - I get a really bad one every year or two nowadays, which is much better than when I used to get one every month or so!
