Wednesday was mostly spent at the National Portrait Gallery, with Lauren, looking at their current exhibition of Indian portraits. I really like the sound of the exhibition, especially the Amrit and Rabindra Singh section. I have seen their work before but didn't realise it was identical twins. I really like 'Poppy and Forget-me-not' and 'Paint the Town Red. There's is so much humour in their work and I love the brightness of the paintings.

Glad spring has sprung there. I like your daffodils :-)

LJ is playing up again with posting comments so I hope this posts!

The show is definitely worth seeing if you get the chance, especially since the pictures don't seem to photograph too well. I would have bought the book about them, but the reproductions in it didn't nearly capture the detail. Some of the pictures would look great as posters.

The daffodils in the window box always seem to come out early, probably because it's warmer; the ones in the park are still only buds.

How long is it there for? I have a half day in London on Sat April 10th but don't think I'll get time. I'll have to see.

Both exhibitions are on until June 10, so you might well get to see them later, if you don't make it then.

Sounds like a exhibition I'd love. I get the NPG newsletter so read about it.

That's a bright display you have in your window box!
