This is a Good Thing(TM) Bo would have been totally constrained by the bubblegum dispensing machine. There's no way they would have let him write his own songs, it'd all be ultraprocessed crap. Being #2 is the best thing that could happen to him, because you can't even doubt that he'll get a contract anyway. I'm no longtime Idol fan but you gotta love a guy who covers skynard with so much flair. Bo4evr!!
