I have been surprised on my birthday before, but more Greater? WoW! peteroinnj April 2 2013, 17:51:46 UTC
Thanks for sharing this snippet Frea. You still have the Greater touch. And I so like where this one might go. I hope you have enjoyed writing it, because really, that's all that really matters.

BTW, I kind of messed up my prompt last week - it should have been Chuck & Buffy, The BuyMore on Black Friday, mechanical bunnies. Yeah, guess what I've been rereading on the commute each day.

Annnnd, look for an update (or four) from me in the coming weeks. Finally finished Sweet 16's & cleaning them up.

Thanks again Frea!

Very welcome, Peter! And you'll be surprised by where this one is going, I think. I cut it off right before the paragraph where you see which story it really is.

...you haven't been reading Fates again, have you? Oh, geez, that story's terrible, you should find something else. I'd recommend stuff, but I stopped reading altogether in the Chuck fandom. Oh, wait, quistie's still got SOM2 going. That's got music and happiness and there's a distinct lack of soul-crushing. You should go with that.

Can't wait to read!

You are right, there isn't much in the Chuck fic-verse worth reading beyond SOM2 and two other authors that have kept my interest. And yes, I am re-reading Fates. I enjoy (and miss) your writing. Never got the Abbey muse, and although Avengers has been fun, I guess I just don't have the same connection. So I've re-read Walker's Eleven; Set, Spike Dive; and I'm going through the Fates-verse in the order you've suggested.
So the snippet does have more? I can't wait to see where you take it. I like your spin on the characters in the Greaterverse and have always hoped there would be more to it. I've always believed you have the whole story mapped out in your head and you are giving us pieces of the puzzle. Thanks so much for doing this!

Bwahahaha! Can I just say how much I love when you write Sarah. It makes me die when she's so sexually deprived! Hilarious. Poor Sarah Walker. Girl needs to get laid. ;-)

Seriously though, I do love how you say so much about her feelings with just a touch on the wrist. Or how her thigh felt warm next to Chuck's when they shared a seat at that rockin' Techno Turkey Bash. And how we found out she'd stay in Greater New Year story.

Don't ever change, you romantic.

No. It's Carina. No. It's really me, your friendly neighborhood Cat.

Also, are you implying I'm predictable!? ;-)
