I lost my job last Monday so I've been updating resumes and pulling transcripts. I just noticed that I was 204 out of 236 in our class ranking. That means there were only 32 people dumber and lazier than me the year I graduated BSC. What the hell was I doing for four years?

As for class rankings, you might as well be #204 - unless you're in the top three, nobody cares. So to be #204 and have enjoyed yourself beats working your butt off to be #27 any day.

Turns out, I'm only qualified to be a youth minister.

Also, how wise is this? The last time I crashed one of your birthday parties it involved eight hours of driving and ended in lots of awkwardness. We've matured since then, right?

By now you should know that I adore you. If you don't... well here you go:
I adore you!
Don't let this whole thing get you down. You are one of the most brilliant and well rounded people I know. You WILL find something else and who ever gets you will be a lucky company. Don't let the funk pull you down. Looking for a job (even in a good market) can really drag you down. Stay positive!
If you need someone to be a cheerleader for you... I can't promise to do any splits, but I can promise to cheer you on as much as you need. :)
I'm using my Gambatte icon. This is dorky... but for you I'll explain it's meaning and be geeky. In japanese this means "Do your best!" but in reality it is more than that. The term is used as encouragement, as a promise, as a dedication or a battle cry.
So... Gambatte Franklin!

I love you. It will get better. Maybe not now or even in three months, but it will happen.
