Ha! Last time I stayed in Oakland, I had a great time! Staying with friends who lived in a *barely* converted loft by the train tracks. Just step over the sleeping hobos, yo!

I have some friends who live in parts of Oakland like that. I live just north in Berkeley, so it's even funnier to me. That and many of my friends are the hipster mocking hipsters that live in the Mission.
