so, steve irwin died today.

he was only 44. he left behind a wife, a daughter who is 8, and a son who is turning 3 in december.

he was stung by a sting ray, and pretty much the only reason it was fatal is because experts think he was stung directly in his heart...the odds of that happening are ridiculously, outrageously low.
