As I had told fantasmadaopera, there was a pro-shot recorded of the Mexican version of "Roméo et Juliette" and I was getting my sticky fingers on it

I plan on typing as much as I can hear out, since it's so much clearer than my audio of it; the acoustics weren't amazing there; this is through the soundboard obviously.
I've noticed on much of it the lyrics are very similar, minus a few; the dialogues as well. But I was very impressed with it.
Ohhhh great!=D I must say that their Death creeps me out a bit though. Well compared with the gorgeous french one of course lol:P Don't forget to let me know once you got it=)
I was actually very surprsied they made Death a man, with La Catrina being a major personification of Death and the whole "la muerte" - feminine. But, yep, a bit more creepy than the others...
the feeling I got, even because of the way "Verona" is translated, is that they used the Russian script for some reason. So that's why they probably kept the male death :P Now I wander what would happen if they staged Elisabeth...a female death would be interesting! LOL=D
Wow... Les Roi du Monde sounds AWESOME!! It's not quite as powerful as the original cast though. In my opinion the original French cast had really powerful music in the background and were so... so... "powerful" is the only word I can use to describe it. Not loud but passionate and you could feel the tremors when they sang.
This is feels "weaker" (not to say the actors are bad, they look like they're having so much fun and passionate too), it feels like the music isn't quite so... *BANG*?
They had a live orchestra of about 12 or so, the same number of the London cast and that was one of the things I praised for the show. It was a great sound for it being live, though sadly it wasn't as powerful in music as the French or even the Austrian.
If you wish, I have the rest of the music that was ripped from this dvd if you're interested in hearing it. :D
I'll have the complete show of it, finally. I'm still waiting for it to come in, though once I do, I'd love to pass it along. The person who posted these videos, I know her very well. <3

I like when they manage to have the lyrics similar--sometimes it's too hard to do it that way.
