CFUW Game 10 goes here

I'm feeling a bit reckless, Near. Want to work together, or at least pretend to until one or both of us is suspected of being a wolf?

Mm. I don't know you half so well as I do Mello, so the proposal is considerably riskier - but why not? You may be a wolf planning to lead me around, but then, I imagine you also do not underestimate me, and so if you are a wolf, you'll realize that I will be wary, and thought this worthwhile anyways...

Very well, I accept.

That would seem logical. Unless a better candidate is presented then, should we consider Ash cleared?

...of course, if he has been cleared, his survival may not actually be assured. That seems to be the way of things, after all.

I would.

Mmm... another interpretation would be that the wolves have privately decided NOT to attack another. A friend, perhaps, or a subordinate.

That would be information that the shepherd would have, and the wolves... but not the sheep. It would be fairly useless to us as a whole.

However, I do admit that if the clue were presented in THAT context, it would exclude both of us. Of all the people in the game, I would consider you the closest to me, and you and I both know that if one of us was a wolf and the other began closing in, we wouldn't hesitate to bring the axe down.

...This would've been much easier had the shepherd added the word "Usually" to the clue. That way, we wouldn't have to second-guess ourselves with the last point you brought up.

Of course, if you are a wolf, presenting that chain of logic to me, perhaps I am the one whose survival is assured, as you intend to keep me around and believing that you are a sheep.

I will admit it is true that if I were a wolf, and I felt you were nearing the 'truth' about my nature, I would feel no compunctions about voting to devour you. After all, didn't I agree that you could devour me?

...heh.

Then I would eat you just to prove you wrong.

Heh. We will get nowhere chasing that circle of logic around, will we?

Precisely, though it's a bit fun.

Other possibilities - if we suppose that it means that the wolves have decided not to consume one of the sheep, then we must assess Cho-san and Sha-san, who are husband and wife lovers. I... do not think that Cho-san would have an issue with "eating" Sha-san; I do not know Sha-san well enough to suppose the same in return. You?

They're lovers?

Yes - weren't you aware? They haven't entirely been secret about it - though I presume that like the rest of us, their activies are curtailed while at camp dammitall.

I don't normally pay attention to such things. Secret or no, it's not my business.

Though, in that light, Hakkai's reply to you seems a bit suspicious.

Whereas my job is to be nosy. Heh.

Mm. It's another convenient interpretation, certainly, though their relationship lends a certain shadow of doubt to the motives of Cho-san for bringing it up.

Mm, but Cho-san is the one I would not put it past eating Sha-san...

Ah, but if it simply refers to his nickname, then that is not an issue, is it?

And Ash has apparently been eaten twice as a sheep, so that removes his candidacy for being cleared by this clue.

No, it wouldn't be an issue, I don't think.

Hm. I see that more votes have been cast; one extra on me, two on Hakkai, and one on Colonel Mustang.

And with another vote on me, I'm willing to bet that the wolves are going to jump on it. Without a clue to back me up and without having contributed anything useful, I'll probably get voted out if things continue as they are.

I've also noticed that Lupin's contributed nothing, and that I find his statement highly suspicious.

However, were I to change my vote to him, it would just make me look wolfish. I'll likely do it later.
